Nothing worth building goes in a straight line.

This is one of two disciplines, or a part of one. It is never sold on its own.

There is no process with a name

Work in this area tends to arrive tangled with the other discipline, which is why we do both. A brand that never reaches a screen is half a job, and a screen without a point of view is a template.

What it looks like in practice

The order matters more than the list. We would rather spend the first fortnight deciding what the thing is for than produce something handsome that has to be unpicked later, and we would rather show you an unflattering week than save it up for a reveal. None of that is a method with a name. It is just the way work goes when the people deciding are the people building.
